I joined the school in January 2013 and have seen the school continue to build on it's excellent reputation and determination to be the best it can be.  We are proud of our pupils and the support from their families.

The staff and Governors are dedicated to enabling the children of  St. Clare's to be fully prepared for life in the 21st century. The excellent relationships between staff and pupils can be seen throughout the school.

Our shared vision is that "learning develops independent thinking children, through exciting challenges expecting success with faith at the centre of all we do."

My aim is that the pupils and staff of St Clare's are happy and work collaboratively, achieving together. 

St Clare’s Primary School staff and pupils are pleased to have received a glowing report by Ofsted in January 2018, which sees the school continuing to be ‘Good’. The Ofsted inspector positively recognised the strengths of St Clare’s Talk for Learning approach to pupils’ studies where ‘pupils support each other in lessons exceptionally well’ and ‘talk to each other about their learning, and resolve problems by talking them through before asking an adult for help’. EYFS & KS1 (5.30-6.15pm) EYFS parents must accompany their child. 6.30-7.30pm KS2 disco This is run by the Friends of St Clare's. Money raised at Friends events goes towards paying for things for the children that the school budget doesn't cover such as coaches for the Christmas panto, lockers for the children whole school trips and much more.
