St Clare’s Primary School, A Catholic Voluntary Academy

St.Clare’s Catholic Primary School opened and formally blessed by the Right Reverend Bishop McGuiness in May 1976 to provide a Catholic education for children in the parish of St. Wilfrids, the Coalville area and surrounding villages.  The school has grown in size and reputation ever since.  We are 4+ to eleven years of age primary school for girls and boys of all abilities. The school converted to academy status on 1st July 2012.

Christ is the foundation of our school and all we say and do reflects the Christian message.  We are proud of our efforts to educate and care for all our children.  If you entrust your child to us we offer a learning partnership between home, parish and school.
