Dear Parents and carers,
We have made it to the end of another term and what an end it has been!
Who would have thought at February half term a mere six weeks ago that we would now be to all intents and purposes closed and teaching your children remotely with your help and support.
I cannot thank you all enough for the support you have given the school and staff. This is very much now a two-way process between us to educate and keep the children’s love for learning alive. I also need to express my upmost thanks and appreciation to the staff at St. Clare’s who in the shortest space of time organised, produced, and set up a home learning platform for all of the children.
The response on ClassDojos has been amazing and being able to see what you are doing and respond to your questions and the work has been and will continue to be a source of pleasure for the teaching staff in these uncertain times.

Safeguarding update in light of the Coronavirus Pandemic
St Clare’s Primary School, A Catholic Voluntary Academy
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We hope you find everything you're looking for, if you have any queries please contact the school directly.
I joined the school in January 2013 and have seen the school continue to build on it's excellent reputation and determination to be the best it can be. We are proud of our pupils and the support from their families.
The staff and Governors are dedicated to enabling the children of St. Clare's to be fully prepared for life in the 21st century. The excellent relationships between staff and pupils can be seen throughout the school.
Our shared vision is that "learning develops independent thinking children, through exciting challenges expecting success with faith at the centre of all we do."
My aim is that the pupils and staff of St Clare's are happy and work collaboratively, achieving together.
St Clare’s Primary School staff and pupils are pleased to have received a glowing report by Ofsted in January 2018, which sees the school continuing to be ‘Good’. The Ofsted inspector positively recognised the strengths of St Clare’s Talk for Learning approach to pupils’ studies where ‘pupils support each other in lessons exceptionally well’ and ‘talk to each other about their learning, and resolve problems by talking them through before asking an adult for help’. If you would like to know more about Talk for Learning please contact the school office to arrange a visit.
Please follow this link to read about our fantastic Ofsted report.
