St Clare’s Primary School has been awarded the Oscar Romero Participator Award in recognition of its strong and growing commitment to Catholic Social Teaching (CST). The award celebrates how CST is embedded across the school’s ethos, curriculum and daily life, from policies that promote dignity, equality and inclusion, to pupil-led initiatives supporting local, national and global charities. Pupils actively engage with issues such as climate change, poverty and social justice, and put their faith into action through fundraising, environmental work and community outreach. This award reflects the school’s dedication to living out its mission of “Learning through Faith” and developing compassionate, socially aware young people.
