Supporting charities this Harvestime

Our Harvest Liturgy will take place this Friday, led by our Year 6 pupils.  As you are aware, things are a little different this year, but we are striving to deliver a full programme of collective worship for our community.

We will be supporting two charities this Harvestime:

    • Coalville Foodbank – we are asking pupils to bring in donations of food which will go to our local foodbank to support the many families in our community who are struggling to feed themselves, especially at this time. Donations of tinned goods, pasta, cereals, rice etc would be most gratefully received.  These should come into school on Friday 9th  Please do not send in items earlier as we will be unable to store them.
    • CAFOD – in support of their Family Fast Day to support overseas communities who are most vulnerable due to the pandemic, please consider paying £1 via ParentPay in order for your child to come to school in their own clothes.

Thank you in advance for supporting our charitable efforts.
